Schedule/Hours:
Full-time travel assignment
Key Qualifications:
RN license with at least one year of pediatric critical care experience (two years preferred) At least one prior travel assignment completed (first-time travelers not considered) BLS and PALS certifications required Strong skills managing drips (e.g., heparin, insulin, cardiac) Comfortable in collaborative, open-bay settings and with team-focused care Self-motivated and resourceful with a proactive approach to learning Experience with EPIC, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell, and Philips monitors preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver attentive, evidence-based nursing care to pediatric post-anesthesia patients (aged 0-17), both inpatient and outpatient Monitor telemetry, assess patient conditions, and respond to evolving needs Work alongside an engaged multidisciplinary team, including transporters, dedicated charge staff, anesthesia support, and PACU educators Occasionally float to care for adult patients on an as-needed basis Maintain accurate documentation and patient safety standards using top-tier technology
