The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscape maintenance and a strong understanding of irrigation systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure efficient water usage for gardens and landscapes. The Irrigation Technician will work closely with clients to assess their irrigation needs and provide expert solutions. Responsibilities Install and maintain various types of irrigation systems, ensuring optimal performance. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation and maintenance tasks. Dig trenches for irrigation lines while ensuring minimal disruption to existing landscapes. Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to integrate irrigation solutions into overall garden care. Provide guidance on best practices for lawn care and landscape irrigation. Maintain accurate records of services performed and materials used. Skills Proficient in using hand tools and power tools related to irrigation installation and repair. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues with irrigation systems. Experience in landscape maintenance, including gardening techniques and lawn care practices. Ability to dig trenches efficiently while maintaining safety standards. Familiarity with various types of irrigation systems, including drip, sprinkler, and soaker hoses. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
