Position Summary:
The Tech Support Intern provides entry-level technical support and assists the IT team with day-to-day operations across Fathoms multi-site manufacturing and corporate environments. This role offers firsthand exposure to enterprise IT systems and service desk operations while supporting users under the guidance of senior IT staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and basic network issues.

Assist in resolving service desk tickets including password resets and device setup.

Support users across office and production environments.

Assist with device provisioning, inventory, and asset tracking.

Support Microsoft 365 user setup and troubleshootingFollow IT security policies and report concerns.

Collaborating with IT team and participating in trainingLead several small projects for the IT Operations Team related to network documentation, asset inventorying, knowledge base population, and AD clean-up.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Currently pursuing a degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fieldBasic understanding of hardware, operating systems, and networkingFamiliarity with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 preferredStrong problem-solving and communication skillsWillingness to learn and follow instructions. Good communication skillsPreferred SkillsExposure to IT ticketing systemsBasic knowledge of Active Directory or AzureInterest in manufacturing or industrial IT environmentsUnderstanding of cybersecurity fundamentalsBasic troubleshooting experience with Windows 10/11
Education Background:
Currently enrolled in, recently completed, or pursuing coursework in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Networking, or a related technical field preferredWhat we offer:
