Position Summary The Desktop Support Intern will assist the IT team in providing entry level phone support to end-users, password reset, ticket entry, login issues, and maintaining IT assets. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in IT support operations. This position is normally a 3-4-month position with the opportunity to extend depending on student availability and scheduling. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Telephone triage and orchestration. Document IT support requests, resolutions, and procedures using the ticketing system. Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals. Assist with troubleshooting operating systems and application issues, including Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, and other enterprise software. Assist with computer equipment moves. Perform special projects within other areas as requested. Adhere to BSA policy and all other bank policies. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Minimum Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Basic understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and general troubleshooting methodologies. Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation. Desired Qualifications Experience supporting Office 365 products. Experience using a help desk ticketing system for tracking support tickets. Experience with patch management tools and Windows imaging tools. Learning Opportunities Hands-on experience in IT infrastructure and support.
