Janitor/Cleaner

Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning our bathrooms including porta potties, mopping and sweeping the floors, restocking toilet paper and soap dispensers. We are a destination location here at The Red Apple Farm so assistance for cleaning is needed for the weekdays as regular maintenance, but the weekends are the most crucial. We have seasonal festivals and fairs for which the bathroom facilities need to be cleaned before and after the events as well as maintained periodically throughout the event. We are seeking a candidate that would be open to split shifts where they can come early in the morning before opening (or before we get busy) and clean after we close (or after the crowds become manageable) Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all areas of the bathroom facilities, including floors, walls, windows, and restrooms.
• Conduct custodial tasks such as sweeping and mopping
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in all areas of the restrooms
• Follow all safety and security protocols.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Perform other duties as required. Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or industrial cleaning.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization.
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the job.
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.
• Ability to follow all safety and security protocols.
