Janitorial Cleaning

Perform thorough cleaning of offices, hallways, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies. Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, stripping, and waxing to keep surfaces looking their best. Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass partitions, and other surfaces to promote a bright and inviting atmosphere. Handle custodial tasks including trash removal, restocking supplies, and disinfecting high-touch areas to prevent the spread of germs. Assist with light maintenance duties such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to facilities management. Follow safety protocols during all cleaning procedures to ensure a hazard-free environment for staff and visitors. Support special projects like residential painting or industrial cleaning as needed to meet facility requirements. Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with a strong understanding of commercial or industrial cleaning practices. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning. Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and safety procedures. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy supplies, standing for extended periods, and bending or kneeling comfortably. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards. Prior experience in facilities maintenance or porter roles is a plus. Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and report maintenance issues effectively.
