Janitorial Worker

We are looking to hire and individual for a permanent part time job 7pm-10pm Monday thru Saturday. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in commercial and residential settings. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and sanitizing surfaces. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, waxing, and polishing to ensure floors are well-maintained. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment. Handle industrial cleaning duties that may involve the use of specialized cleaning equipment and chemicals. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing all cleaning tasks. Qualifications Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required. Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus. Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing and waxing is advantageous. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to custodial work are essential.
