• A new family moving from Pennsylvania to Santa Ynez (Ballard) has three children, ages 2, 4, and 7, and is looking to hire a Nanny/FA for their family.

This position can be temporary or long-term, as their littlest one will be going to school along with the older two in August.

Schedule:

They have two options for the job starting right away. 1.) Two days a week: 7:30 a.m

• 5:30 p.m. or 9 a.m
• 7 p.m./Friday 7am-12pm 2.) Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m
• 12:30 p.m.
• Once all three children are in school in August 2026, the schedule can be Monday-Friday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. or 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• 25 hours guaranteed a week of work

Compensation:

$25

• 28/hour plus gas reimbursement for any miles driven during working hours.

Ideal Nanny:

The ideal nanny is competent, creative, and proactive regarding the family's and kids' needs. The ideal nanny wants to work as a team to create a cohesive parenting style, ensuring the kids feel supported and safe in a consistent environment. This family also enjoys a tidy and clean home. Although they will have a housecleaner, they want the Nanny to be aware and helpful in maintaining clean and organized spaces.

Job Duties:

For the first 3-6 months, the job will involve engaging the little toddler in morning engaging him in activities and outdoor play whenever possible. possible, and a few hours with household support once he goes down for his nap. Specifically tidying up the kitchen/dishes and helping with the kids' laundry. Once all three kids are in school starting in January 2027 this role transitions to be more home-focused with some transportation duties to and from school and activities in the afternoon. General tidying, light errands here and there, school or sports pickups, and snack preparation.
