Role:

We're looking for a skilled and reliable Journeyman Electrician to join our team. This role focuses on troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical systems in residential and light commercial settings. The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation, excellent customer service skills, and at least 5 years of hands-on experience in the field. Key Responsibilities Perform a wide variety of residential and light commercial electrical work, primarily focused on smaller, fast-moving projects. Complete jobs such as remodels, tenant improvements, panel upgrades, troubleshooting, lighting installs, equipment hookups, service work, and miscellaneous electrical projects. Move between multiple job sites and project types throughout the week — no repetitive long-term construction sites. Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality workmanship and productivity. Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and project scopes as needed. Troubleshoot electrical systems efficiently and identify practical solutions in the field. Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites. Communicate with homeowners, contractors, project managers, and team members when necessary to ensure smooth project execution. Accurately document work completed, materials used, and any field changes or issues. Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with NEC, local codes, and company standards. Manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment where priorities and job scopes may shift daily. Represent the company professionally through reliability, craftsmanship, and accountability. Requirements:

Valid Journeyman Electrician License (state-specific) 5+ years of experience in residential or commercial service work Strong knowledge of NEC codes and safe work practices Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Valid driver's license and clean driving record Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in smart home systems, generators, or service upgrades OSHA 10 or 30 certification Familiarity with mobile work order apps or software
