Kennel Technician

## Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and providing exceptional care to pets. This role involves assisting with the daily care and well-being of animals in our facility. ## Responsibilities

• Provide food, water, and proper care to all animals in the kennel
• Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and animal living areas
• Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to the supervisor
• Administer medications under the direction of veterinary staff
• Maintain accurate records of animal intake, behavior, and medical treatments
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for all animals in the facility
• Work alongside technicians and assist with appointments and procedures as needed ## Qualifications
• Previous experience in animal care or related field is preferred
• Knowledge of basic animal care techniques and behaviors
• Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately
• Strong communication skills with both team members and pet owners
