Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee all aspects of kitchen operations. This vital role combines culinary expertise with strong management skills to ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality food service. As a Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining exceptional food standards, supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Your leadership will inspire a motivated team dedicated to delivering outstanding take-out experiences in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and timely food preparation in a quick service and fast food restaurant setting Lead, train, and develop kitchen staff to uphold high standards of food quality, safety, and customer service Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste Supervise food preparation processes to ensure consistency, presentation, and adherence to recipes and health regulations Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems and oversee cash handling procedures during shifts Maintain strict food safety standards by implementing proper food handling practices and conducting regular cleanliness inspections Assist in budgeting, cost control, and optimizing operational efficiency to meet business goals Qualifications Proven experience in kitchen management within a quick service, fast food, casual dining, or fine dining environment Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food production management Familiarity with cash handling procedures Demonstrated supervisory skills with experience in staff training, team management, interviewing, and development Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling and sanitation Excellent leadership abilities combined with exceptional customer service skills Previous experience managing inventory control, budgeting, shift management, and restaurant operations is highly desirable Hospitality management background including hotel or catering experience is a plus Join us as we create memorable take-out experiences through passionate leadership and culinary excellence.
