Job Summary Join our vibrant Your Store Next Door team as a Kitchen Staff member, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help a small but mighty country kitchen. In this energetic role, you will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and ensure smooth kitchen operations. Your passion for food service and hospitality will shine through as you assist and serve customers with a positive attitude. Duties Assist in food preparation by chopping, assembling, and organizing ingredients efficiently and safely Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety standards Support cooking processes by following recipes and instructions from chefs or kitchen supervisors Handle food handling responsibilities with attention to hygiene and safety regulations Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure timely service Skills Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key! Knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and safety procedures (will train) Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Ability to handle food safely, including proper hygiene practices and understanding of food handling protocols Excellent communication skills to work seamlessly within a team Willingness to learn new skills and adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting Embark on a rewarding journey in the culinary world where your energy fuels our success!
