Directs and coordinates fleet operations to ensure availability of vehicles and equipment as needed Satisfy driver needs, all safety concerns, and company profitability concerns Assigns pickup and delivery of freight Records information pertaining to drivers Investigates complaints and issues with drivers and resolves issues Enters service failures when required, and immediately notifies other applicable customer service reps, Planners, and Directors Identifies loads under distress and communicates possible service failures or planning revisions Takes required action to ensure driver retention Maintains familiarity with laws, company software/programs, and other developments which affect transportation Performs complex clerical and analytical tasks requiring a thorough knowledge of departmental and organizational policies and procedures, including multitasking and being a strong independent worker Maintains records, interprets data, and prepares reports Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor
