A Military Crew Member supplies support pertinent to mission success, whether on the sea, land or in the air. Operates and maintains vehicles, targeting and firing systems, communications, and navigation equipment. Transports personnel and equipment. Operates weapons, including machine guns, explosives, and auxiliary weapons. Actions may be performed on the frontline, base, or command center either foreign or domestic. May execute support tasks critical to ship and aircraft operation.

Valiant is looking for a Battlefield Effects Fire Marker to join our team!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Produce realistic Battlefield Effects using simulators, training devices and pyrotechnics without assistance in a safe, accurate and timely manner. Operate and maintain all assigned equipment to prescribed standards to include operation of All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV). Must train and become proficient in military map reading using the Military Grid Reference System. Work during both daylight hours and during periods of limited visibility while using (NVGs) Night Vision Goggles, Work under all weather conditions and in a wide variety of terrain. Follow all instructions from Shift Leader and perform tasks in compliance with all applicable corporate and local regulations, policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned consistent with mission requirements and occupational specialty. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be capable of completing safety certification program prior to performing duties.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must be able to multi-task and work independently when needed. Must train and become proficient in military map reading using the Military Grid Reference System. Must become proficient in military communications procedures. Must be available to work flexible shifts outdoors and react quickly to schedule changes. Must be able to travel unaccompanied throughout the continental US and foreign countries. Individual must submit to and pass pre-employment drug screening and will be subject to random drug screening. Must possess a valid Louisiana State Driver's License (or equivalent). Employment contingent upon favorable company background investigation. Will have to acquire a post access card.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience reading military maps and in military radio-telephone procedures. Class "D' driver's license.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be in good physical condition and capable of rapid cross country movement on foot over varied terrain for a distance of 2km while carrying a 20 pound pack in 20 minutes. Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to throw pyrotechnic a minimum of 20 meters.
