Lab Technician

Essential Job Functions:

Report to Manager any noncompliance by team members Engage in all areas as needed to assure procedures are being followed Report employees' personnel issues to department manager Ability to work under pressure Working knowledge of MS office Working QHSE systems, preventative measures, and laboratory best practices Operate electrical and non-electrical lab equipment

Essential Job Responsibility:

Includes but not limited to- Receive, label, and analyze knitting, printing, finishing and color kitchen samples Execute laboratory testing according to standard procedures, make observations and communicate findings Conduct experiments under defined conditions to verify/reject various types of hypotheses using refined scientific methods Organize and store all chemicals substances, fluids, and compressed gases according to safety instructions Record and file all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic) with accuracy and responsibility Maintain equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies Ensure that all safety guidelines are always followed strictly and maintain a clean and orderly environment Conduct all testing required for both mechanical and color/scan per standard operating procedures Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
