Landscape Foreman

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Supervisor to lead our landscaping team in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of landscape maintenance, and a passion for horticulture. This full-time position offers an opportunity to oversee various projects, supervise crew members, and ensure high-quality results in landscape design, installation, and upkeep. The candidate must be proficient in all kinds of landscape projects, including but not limited to lawn care, Landscaping, hardscaping, and irrigation systems. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily landscape maintenance activities, including lawn care, gardening, tree care, and irrigation system management Operate equipment including, but not limited to, driving a truck and trailer, skid steer loader, backpack blower, hedge trimmer, chain saw, etc. Oversee landscaping projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards Lead and motivate a team of landscapers and horticulturists, providing guidance and training as needed Perform or oversee construction tasks such as planting beds, installing hardscapes, and maintaining irrigation systems Conduct routine inspections of work sites to ensure safety protocols are followed and work is performed efficiently and be able to make recommendations to team members. Manage equipment maintenance and ensure proper use of tools and machinery. Responsible for ensuring end of day clean up, maintenance, and inspection of all assigned vehicles and equipment is complete. Collaborate with clients to understand their landscape needs and provide expert recommendations Be on call / work during every salt/snow storm over the winter. Requirements Valid Drivers License and Medical Card Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, lawn care, construction, tree care, irrigation, gardening, horticulture, and general landscape maintenance Prior supervising or leadership experience in a landscaping or construction environment Strong knowledge of horticultural practices and plant health management Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively Good communication skills for coordinating with clients, team members, and suppliers Ability to read blueprints or landscape plans is a plus PA Pesticide certification is a plus This position is ideal for a dedicated professional looking to advance their career in landscape management while contributing to the creation of stunning outdoor spaces.

Pay:

$23.00 - $29.00 per hour
