LANDSCAPE FOREMAN

Pay rate is $20-$30/hour, Depending on Experience, with bonuses and ability to receive frequent raises based on performance. Weekly hours are not capped. A well-established, award winning, fast-paced, professional wholesale nursery and landscape company in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley, Montana is hiring for a Landscape Foreman. Duties will include, but not limited to: Being able to stoop, lift and carry up to 80 pounds Being a leader that sets a good example Managing a crew of varying sizes to complete tasks in a safe, efficient manner: 2 years previous experience preferred in:

• Installing Sprinkler and drip irrigation systems
• Laying Sod and Lawns
• Applying landscape fabric, top-dressing, rocks, boulders, etc.
• Hardscapes-Patios, Pathways and retaining walls
• Proper planting techniques of both container and large B&B plant material
• Crew leadership and training
• Safe operation of hand tools (chainsaws, hedgers, post pounders, box blades, etc.) and Machinery-(Skid steers, Augers, Excavator, Genie, Ditch Witch, etc.)
• Tree care-pruning, watering, fertilizing, etc.

Skills needed:

Must be on-time, ready for work and reliable Managerial Skills-the ability to set goals and meet deadlines is extremely important! Train, motivate and work with crews containing varying levels of experience and skills Communication and the ability to follow directions is essential The ability to work outside in all types of weather Valid Driver's License with a clean record & experience driving trucks with trailers Professional, friendly, versatile, and organized Presentation Skills and the ability to excel with customers and the public The ability to handle complaints/suggestions and solve problems Efficient, quality work

Work Week:

Regular hours are Monday through Friday 8:00a.m.- 4:30 p.m. (½ hour lunch break) Full-Time year-round ( Possibilities of additional hours throughout the busy season .)

Pay Rate:

$20-$30 per hour, Depending on Experience, Bonuses and frequent performance based raises.

Start Date:

May 2026 with a 6-Month Probationary Period Paid Time Off, Performance Based Raises Newer Trucks, Equipment and Machinery, Company Clothing, Employee Discounts Job offers are contingent upon passing a pre-employment screen
