Plumbing Foreman / Superintendent - Sapphire Mechanical Sapphire Mechanical is a fast growing value-oriented company, and we're looking for a skilled Plumbing Foreman/Superintendent to join our successful team. We are a commercial HVAC and plumbing contractor known for high‑quality workmanship, strong project leadership, and a commitment to doing the job right the first time. Position Overview The Plumbing Foreman/Superintendent will oversee all field plumbing operations on commercial projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This role requires strong leadership, deep technical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate teams, schedules, and subcontractors while maintaining excellent communication with project managers and general contractors. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise plumbing crews on commercial construction projects Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily tasks to meet project timelines Interpret blueprints, specifications, and submittals to ensure accurate installation Maintain jobsite safety and enforce company safety policies Communicate clearly with project managers, GC representatives, inspectors, and other trades Track material needs, manage inventory, and coordinate deliveries Ensure all work meets code requirements and company quality standards Train and mentor apprentices and journeyman plumbers Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions to keep projects moving Document progress, changes, and field conditions as needed Qualifications 5+ years of commercial plumbing experience; foreman or superintendent experience preferred Valid Master Plumbers Licence Strong understanding of commercial plumbing systems, codes, and installation practices Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Proven leadership and team‑management skills Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities Valid plumbing license (preferred or required depending on state regulations) OSHA certification is a plus Clean driving record and reliable transportation What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Health, dental, and vision benefits Retirement plan options Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for advancement within a growing company A supportive team culture built on professionalism, respect, and craftsmanship
