Landscape Porter

Position Summary Performs a variety of responsibilities with direct client contact that will include emptying and cleaning outdoor trash receptacles; removing debris from grounds and loading docks; operating hand, walk-behind and ride-on mowers, ability to operate Skeed-steer and back-hoes, weed eater, blowers and other power equipment; raking leaves; sweeping and blowing walkways; weeding by hand and applying chemical weed control; maintain equipment at proper working and safety standards. Also assists with office moves, prune shrubs and trees.

Minimum Qualifications:

 Bilingual in English and Spanish  Ability to read, write, and perform simple arithmetic.  Cell Phone and computer timekeeping experience

Prior landscaping work experience required.

Environment The majority of the work is performed in an outdoor field environment and on the road; a minimal amount of work is performed in an indoor office; travel from site to site; exposure to noise, dust, grease, smoke, fumes, pesticides, fertilizers, compost, insects, certain wild animals, plants and weeds (including poison oak and ivy), flowers, pollen, noxious odors, gases, mechanical and electrical hazards, and all types of weather and temperature conditions; work in or around water; exposure to hazardous traffic conditions; work and/or walk on various types of surfaces including slippery or uneven surfaces and rough terrain.
