Laundry Attendant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team at Courtyard by Marriott Chicago O'Hare. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all hotel linens, and towels are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. Your work plays a key role in maintaining the comfort and satisfaction of our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate commercial washers, dryers, and pressing equipment safely and efficiently Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linens and towels according to hotel standards Inspect linens for stains, damage, or wear and report issues as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area Monitor inventory of linens and report shortages Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines Assist housekeeping team with linen distribution as needed

Qualifications:

Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred but not required Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25-50 lbs Strong attention to detail and time management skills Dependable, punctual, and a team player Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment is a plus We're an equal opportunity employer. From $17.00 per hour
