Laundry Worker

In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling laundry operations, ensuring all linens, textiles and personal laundry are cleaned to the highest standards. Responsibilities Operate laundry machines such as washers and dryers and to process linens, towels, textiles, and personal laundry efficiently. Sort laundry items based on fabric type, color, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results. Perform cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting work areas to maintain a hygienic environment. Handle delicate items with care. Monitor machine operations for proper functioning and report any maintenance issues promptly. Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for chemicals. Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and ensuring adequate stock levels of detergents, cleaning agents, and laundry accessories. Experience Prior experience in laundry services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with laundry equipment such as washers and dryers is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and quality control. Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures related to laundry operations.

Pay:

$13.00 - $15.00 per hour
