DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The listed examples may not include all the duties performed by all positions in this class. Courtroom security and bailiff operations, inmate transport support, and learning judicial procedures. Assist staff with administrative and support tasks, booking and inmate movement, and learn correctional operations under supervision. Participate in supervised rides along with patrol deputies to observe calls for service, traffic enforcement, and community policing. Assist with community outreach, traffic control, administrative tasks, and public service events. Observe investigative processes, case preparation, and evidence handling procedures. Participate in orientation, safety training, ethics instruction, and agency-approved learning activities. Other duties as assigned.
