Job Description
KSP BioScript LLC is seeking a dependable and professional Occupational Health Medical Examiner to join our growing clinical and occupational health team. This is a flexible, appointment-based opportunity for a qualified healthcare provider interested in performing DOT/CDL, pre-employment, and occupational physical examinations in an outpatient clinic setting. The selected provider will perform physical examinations, review medical histories, assess examination findings, complete required documentation, and determine examination outcomes within their professional scope of practice. DOT Certification Current FMCSA Medical Examiner certification is preferred but is NOT required at the time of application. KSP BioScript is willing to pay for FMCSA Medical Examiner certification for the right qualified candidate who is eligible to become certified and is willing to complete the required training, examination, and registration process. The provider must successfully obtain all required FMCSA credentials before independently performing DOT/CDL medical examinations. Responsibilities The provider will be responsible for: Performing DOT/CDL physical examinations once FMCSA certification requirements are met Performing pre-employment physical examinations Performing occupational health physical examinations Reviewing patient medical histories and health questionnaires Conducting appropriate physical assessments within the provider's professional scope Reviewing vital signs and other examination findings Determining whether individuals meet applicable medical qualification standards Completing required examination forms and documentation Completing DOT Medical Examination Reports and certifications when applicable Maintaining accurate, timely, and confidential patient records Following
