The Investigator plays an important part at the Board. In this role, you will be responsible for: Conducting investigations of complaints and allegations submitted to the Board, including gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, victims, and respondents. Preparing investigative reports. Maintaining files and records. Conferring with legal personnel for assistance in documenting and preparing for cases for administrative hearing, other resolutions and/or filing of charges for referral to criminal prosecution. Testifying if needed during case resolution. Preparing and presenting investigative reports and evidence to Board members. Attending board meetings to provide enforcement information to Board members. Handling telephone inquiries regarding practice questions and laws and rules governing the practice of occupational therapy, physical therapy, athletic training, orthotics, prosthetics and pedorthics.
