What You'll Do:

Supervise youth and maintain safety and security Conduct juvenile counts, room searches, and contraband checks Respond to incidents, emergencies, and crisis situations Enforce the behavior management systems and facility rules Assist with transportation, visitation, and daily routines Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reports Collaborate with educational, mental health, and law enforcement personnel No experience? No problem! The facility provides on-the-job training for crisis intervention, de-escalation techniques, communication skills, and more.

Requirements:

US citizen, age 21 or older High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and a physical exam Physical ability to restrain youth and perform essential job duties, such as kneeling, lifting, standing, and running Must work scheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Pay:

$19.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 29.0 per week
