Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol in El Paso, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will work with a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, while putting people first and acting with integrity in every interaction.

AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and assist with controlling entry and exit in accordance with post orders and location procedures. Maintain readiness for an armed patrol post by handling assigned equipment responsibly and supporting law enforcement-facing operations in line with Allied Universal standards and site requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent. Possess a college degree. Be at least 21 years of age. Have 2 or more years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience. Possess a DD214 with honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
