Job Description
We are seeking individuals who are interested in a long-term career within the Kewaunee County Sheriff's Department. This is a combined Radio Operator and Jailer position. Duties include dispatching emergency requests for fire, police and rescue, operating computer equipment and maintaining the general operation of the jail. Duties include dispatching emergency requests for fire, police and rescue, operating computer equipment and maintaining the general operation of the jail. Officers alternate days of jailing and dispatching. It's a job with a ton of variety, including something different every day. A high school diploma is all that is required! Full training is provided! Strong organization skills and the ability to pick up computer programs quickly will help you succeed. One of our best features is our schedule, which gives officers every other weekend off, making it a 4-day weekend!
