Corrections Officers (Male and Female) Manitowoc County is establishing an eligibility list for future Corrections Officer hirings. Start a career that truly makes a difference in your community. Manitowoc County is seeking dedicated, professional, and compassionate Corrections Officers to help maintain the safety and security of our jail facility while ensuring the care and custody of inmates.

Responsibilities Include:

Processing inmates into the facility Evaluating inmate needs, medical concerns, and housing placement Monitoring cell blocks and maintaining facility security Conducting searches and responding to inmate concerns Serving meals and distributing medications Processing inmates with Huber privileges in and out of the facility Verifying paperwork, schedules, and inmate conditions upon return
