Reports to the Laboratory Director. Provides logistical support for the Pathology Department. Collects and catalogues specimens received for pathological examination. Directly assists the Pathologist in setting up specimens for pathological review. Disposes of tissue remains in accordance with local health standards. Performs other duties as requested. Reports to Laboratory Director.

Position Summary:
Transcribes medical reports, routine letters and other medical correspondence using transcription equipment and word processing programs. Charts, files, faxes, and retrieves reports per departmental protocol. Prepares material for consultation to other facilities. Performs other duties as requested.Reports to the Laboratory Director.
