Longleaf Elementary in Melbourne is seeking a reliable Media Assistant to assist the school's certified media specialist with the media needs of students and teacher(s).

BEGINNING SALARY

Based on classification and pay plan for Classified employees: Grade 19 $17.06 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS REQUIRED

• High School diploma or equivalent or special diploma required. • Training in use of computers. • Type at 35 correct words per minute. • Minimum of 60 semester hours from an accredited educational institution with at least 30 semester hours in general education core curriculum and/or child development and education or successful completion of the ParaPro test with a score of 457 or higher or AA degree.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/TRAINING

REQUIRED

• Valid Florida Driver's license.
