Job Description
Total earning potential: $90,000 to $150,000+ annually (1099 independent contractor, workload dependent). CLFC compensates court reporters through an appearance and attendance fee PLUS retained transcript page revenue and expedited and realtime premiums, so your earnings scale with the work you produce, not a flat hourly wage. CLFC is building its court reporter roster in the Chicago market to support depositions, arbitrations, examinations under oath, and state and commercial legal proceedings across CLFC's nationwide legal-support practice. This is recurring work, not a single engagement.
