Compensation/Rate:
Based on 2025-2026 Salary Schedule . May be hourly rate, daily rate of pay, or paid upon completion stipends. Retirees who work in a classified position are required to track hours on a timesheet. Timesheets received by payroll will be paid in accordance with the approved pay period calendar.
  • Timesheets are not required for PSRS (certified) retirees working in an extra-curricular, athletic or activity position.

2025-2026 Salary Schedule, based on description of work and temporary position type. Purpose Statement The Springfield, Missouri Public School District is currently seeking qualified applicants for temporary positions throughout the district. The Springfield School District is Missouri's largest public school district and has built a reputation of academic excellence based on the outstanding performance of our students and schools. About 24,500 students attend 35 elementary schools, an intermediate school, 9 middle schools, 5 high schools and a variety of alternative education and choice programs.
