We're especially looking for someone who is comfortable covering in-person assignments throughout South Florida . Our goal is to find a reporter we can build a good working relationship with and rely on when our clients need coverage. What the Work Looks Like Most of what we're looking for right now is in-person deposition coverage , along with hearings, trials, arbitrations, and other legal proceedings as they come up. Remote/Zoom assignments may also be available, but our biggest need is for someone who can physically cover proceedings in South Florida . This is a freelance/independent contractor position, so assignments will depend on client demand and your availability. There is flexibility, and you can accept the assignments that work for your schedule. Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Reliable and shows up when they commit to an assignment Professional and comfortable working with attorneys and legal professionals Accurate and detail-oriented Good at communicating and responding to messages Able to meet transcript deadlines Comfortable working independently Interested in building a long-term working relationship You should have the appropriate credentials, equipment, and software needed to handle stenographic reporting assignments.
