The Transcriptionist is responsible for listening to recorded audio or video materials and converting the information into clear, accurate, and well-formatted written documents. This position requires strong listening skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Responsibilities Listen to recorded meetings, interviews, calls, or other audio materials and accurately transcribe them into written documents. Review completed transcripts for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting errors. Organize and maintain electronic documents and transcription records. Follow company formatting and documentation guidelines. Handle confidential or sensitive information professionally. Complete assigned transcription work within established deadlines. Communicate with supervisors when clarification or additional information is needed. Perform basic administrative and data-entry duties when required. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Good written English, grammar, and spelling skills. Strong listening and typing abilities. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and other computer applications. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
