• Education, Experience and Skill Requirements Must have Texas CSR Certification Real-time proficiency is required Stenograph software is provided and required to be used in the courtroom Adhere to the Texas Court Reports Certification Board Code of Professional Conduct Maintain required continuing education and certification Must be team oriented.

Must have the ability to work in person, not remote. Primary Job Duties Attend all sessions of the court Take verbatim shorthand notes of proceedings Serve as custodian of exhibits Edit and proofread the Reporter's Record Additional office assistance, as needed

Any and all duties, as requested. After receiving a conditional offer of employment, applicant must pass a drug screen (1/2 cost = $20.00, responsibility of applicant) and may need a physical agility test (1/2 cost = $22.50, responsibility of applicant) before becoming an employee of Montgomery County.
