The position is responsible for receiving, documenting, storing, tracking, releasing, transporting, retaining, and disposing of property and evidence in accordance with established procedures and legal requirements; maintaining accurate records and chain of custody documentation; and providing administrative support for routine departmental operations. The full salary range for the Property and Evidence Technician is $25.38 - $35.97 per hour. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $30.13 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Ability to learn applicable laws, regulations, and departmental procedures related to property and evidence control.
