Under the supervision of the principal assumes responsibility for the safety and welfare of students under his/her charge while students are in the lunch area, classrooms on rainy days, playground and while students are on their way to and from designated eating and play areas.DUTIES:
.....supervise students .....clean tops and seating areas of lunch tables and counters .....keep debris off floor and under lunch tables .....wipe up spills in lunch area .....check in and check out playground equipment .....maintain discipline and control of students while in lines, in the food eating areas, hallways and playground .....report any unsafe conditions to principal .....maintain visible contact with students on playgrounds to insure safety and to maintain order .....other duties as assigned at the specific siteEMPLOYMENT STANDARDS
Ability to .....communicate in the native language of the majority of students under their charge .....supervise students in order to maintain appropriate safety and order .....follow oral and written instructions and directions Knowledge of .....basic first aid procedures .....the District discipline philosophyRange:

The Encinitas Union School District is seeking applicants for a Noon Supervisor position at Olivenhain Pioneer Elementary School, Kindergarten through 6th grade starting in August 2026.Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 9:45am-12:45pm (15 hours per week). This is a great opportunity for parents/guardians and retirees looking for a flexible schedule. EUSD is located in North San Diego County along the coast. It serves nine(9) Kindergarten through sixth grade schools, and one (1) pre-school for students with special needs.District's Vision:
