We provide education to around 6,000 students from kindergarten through eighth grade across 10 elementary schools and three middle schools. Essential Elements:
Print DUTIES:
Under the direction of the Principal, assists in supervising students during meal periods. Organizes students into orderly lines for purchasing food and sees that they go to assigned tables: directs students for disposing of food wastes, trays, and utensils; organizes for orderly dismissal from the lunchroom; circulates among the tables during the meal period so as to be available to help children who need help and to resolve any minor problems that arise; supervises students at playtime and maintains a harmonious atmosphere on the playground and other areas; supervises group games and activities; informs school office of injuries and enforce school rules; works cooperatively with others and performs reasonably related duties as may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalent desirable. Ability to communicate effectively with students and adults using tact, patience and courtesy; adhere to site schedules for supervised student activities; carry out oral and written instructions; maintain confidentiality regarding students and staff; able to work effectively with large numbers of children. Possess the ability to hear and speak to exchange information in person, on the telephone, and on the radio; clarity of vision to read documents and perform assigned duties; kneeling, bending at the waist; reaching overhead, above the shoulders, and horizontally; lifting light objects. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust vision; and tuberculin clearance.
