Minimum Qualifications:

Education/Training:
Formal or informal education or training which ensures the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance.
Experience:
Some experience working with children is desirable.
License or Certificate:
Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid driver's license. Possession of, or ability to obtain, appropriate, valid first aid and C.P.R. Certificates. Must possess good hearing ability across a frequency range from 500 Hz to 3,000 Hz. Hearing levels meeting these requirements in the better ear, either with or without a hearing aid, will be acceptable. If an individual meets the criteria by using a hearing aid, then he/she must wear that hearing aid and have a spare power source for the hearing aid. Must possess corrected vision of20/40 minimum, with no color blindness. A medical examination may be required before appointment and as a condition of continuing employment with the City.
