Job Description

Terms of Employment:
All scheduled student days
Position Criteria:
High school education or equivalent, required
Performance Criteria:
The timeframe is roughly 8:45am - 2:00pm each day. Supervise students during study hall, including assisting with homework, monitoring computer usage, keeping physical student counts and whereabouts, completing behavior sheets, and documenting behaviors. Cover advisory for a traveling teacher on early-outs Communicate with and assist teachers with homework and projects that need to worked on during study hall Maintain the same high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students as is expected of fully licensed teachers Benefits included: IPERS retirement account Health and Dental Insurance paid for the employee (spouse/family coverage available at an additonal cost) Generous leave package including peronal leave, sick leave, family sick leave, and bereavement leave
