Duties Safely direct vehicular traffic at designated school crossings to protect students and pedestrians Assist children, parents, and school staff in crossing streets using established safety protocols Use personal protective equipment (PPE) such as reflective vests and stop signs to ensure visibility and safety Communicate effectively with drivers, students, and school personnel to promote safe crossing practices Report any unsafe conditions or incidents to appropriate authorities promptly Qualifications Applicants must be 18 years of age. Ability to stand, walk, or remain stationary outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong communication skills to interact confidently with children, parents, drivers, and colleagues. Demonstrated commitment to safety protocol adherence and customer service excellence. There will be additional crossing guard duties available through-out the year during Special Events.
