Crossing Guards play a vital role in ensuring the safety of students, families, and community members as they travel to and from school. Responsibilities Safely assist students in crossing designated streets and intersections. Monitor traffic conditions and follow established crossing procedures. Promote safe pedestrian and bicycle practices. Report safety concerns, traffic issues, or incidents to the supervisor. Maintain a professional and courteous presence while interacting with students, families, staff, and motorists. Perform duties in various weather conditions. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to remain alert and attentive in a busy traffic environment. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required. Successful completion of a CORI/background check. Schedule School days only. Morning and afternoon shift.
