Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant individual to ensure the safety and security of our facility by monitoring hallways and common areas. The Hall Monitor will be responsible for maintaining a positive environment, enforcing rules and regulations, and assisting students and staff as needed. This full-time position requires strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and a commitment to fostering a respectful and safe atmosphere. Responsibilities Monitor hallways, entrances, and common areas to ensure safety and compliance with school policies. Greet and assist students, staff, and visitors, providing directions and information as needed. Report any suspicious behavior or incidents to the appropriate authorities promptly. Enforce school rules and regulations, addressing any violations in a fair and respectful manner. Collaborate with teachers and staff to support a positive school environment. Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter misconduct and ensure safety. Participate in training sessions and meetings to stay informed about safety protocols and school policies. Assist in emergency situations, following established procedures to ensure the safety of all individuals on campus. Perform other duties as assigned by school administration. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in a supervisory, security, or monitoring role is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents. Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations. Knowledge of safety protocols and emergency procedures. Strong observational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus. Must pass a background check and any required training or certifications.
