Immediately Job Description Lincoln Northeast High School is seeking someone who is passionate about student mentorship and safe transit. You will be responsible for safely operating a district passenger van to transport small groups of students (up to 9 at a time), with a specific focus on supporting our English Learner (EL) population. Beyond driving, you will serve as a trusted mentor, tutor, and advocate, providing the vital "success coaching" these students need to attend school regularly and succeed academically and socially. Required experience working with students (through coaching, tutoring, camp counseling, or childcare) with varying behavioral/emotional needs are preferred. Cross-cultural communication skills preferred. Bilingual or multilingual skills (e.g., Spanish, Arabic, Vietnamese, etc., depending on district demographics) are also preferred. Hourly pay rate $23.00 Calendar 183 M-F This position is subject to a veterans preference.
