Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Crossing Guard in Ramsey NJ for the upcoming school year to ensure the safety of pedestrians, especially children, at designated street crossings. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining traffic control and ensuring the safe passage of individuals.

Times:

1 hour in the morning; 1 hour in the afternoon

Duties:

• Safely guide pedestrians and students across designated intersections
• Monitor traffic flow and stop vehicles when necessary to allow pedestrians to cross
• Communicate effectively with drivers, pedestrians, and school staff
• Report any traffic violations or safety concerns to appropriate authorities
• Assist in ensuring compliance with crossing guard procedures and regulations

Requirements:

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse groups of people
• Knowledge of basic first aid procedures
• Understanding of compliance management related to traffic regulations
