Per applicable CSEA contract/salary schedule Cheektowaga Central School District is seeking a dependable and responsible School Monitor for the High School.

General Responsibilities:

The School Monitor will assist with the supervision of students throughout the school day and help maintain a safe, orderly, and respectful school environment.

Duties Include:

Monitor hallways, common areas, cafeteria, entrances, and other assigned locations Supervise students during transitions, lunch periods, and other non-instructional times Assist with maintaining student behavior expectations Report safety concerns, discipline issues, or unusual activity to building administration Support school procedures related to student movement, attendance, and building security Perform other related duties as assigned by the building principal or designee

Qualifications:

Ability to work effectively with high school students Dependable, punctual, and professional Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team Prior school experience preferred, but not required
