School Substitutes The School Substitute provides temporary support within the school district to ensure continuity of instruction, supervision, and daily operations when regular staff members are absent. Substitutes are expected to demonstrate professionalism, dependability, flexibility, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and administrators. Successful candidates should be adaptable and comfortable working in varying school environments and assignments. Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred, but requirements may vary depending on the assignment.
