The Document Control Specialist is responsible for the input and quality of drawings, documents, and records in accordance with Quality Management System documentation and/or customer requirements. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Additional clerical, administrative, or document control training is a plus. Ability to read and interpret drawings, work orders, procedures, and technical documentation. Experience Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clerical, administrative, data entry, or document control role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience operating office equipment such as scanners, copiers, and printers. Strong typing, word processing, and data entry skills with a high level of accuracy. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with engineering, manufacturing, quality, or technical documentation. Familiarity with ERP, MRP, PLM, or document management systems such as OnBase. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Professional communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information. Physical Capabilities Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds. Capable of sitting, standing, and performing computer-based work for extended periods. Ability to handle and organize large volumes of documents and records. Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the position. Job Duties Sort, organize, verify, and count printed documents for accurate data entry and record management. Review drawings, work orders, procedures, and reports and enter information into company systems. Prepare, scan, index, and upload documents into OnBase and other electronic document management systems. Conduct audits to ensure documentation accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and customer information. Follow up on requests and ensure timely completion of commitments for internal and external customers. Communicate issues, discrepancies, or concerns clearly in both written and verbal formats.
