Documentation Specialist in Turlock CA
Job Description
Description Document Creation and Review Develop and review quality assurance documents, including SOPs, quality control procedures, HACCP documentation, SQF policies, and validation protocols. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation aligns with quality standards and regulatory requirements. Backup SQF practitioner. Establish and maintain a robust document control system for quality assurance documents. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory guidelines, and internal procedures. Stay abreast of industry regulations, standards, and guidelines related to dairy manufacturing and quality assurance. Ensure all quality-related documents adhere to local, state, and federal regulatory requirements. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in quality assurance processes and documentation. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement enhancements and ensure efficiency in quality control procedures. Provide training to staff on quality assurance protocols, policies such as HACCP or SQF, and procedures. Assist in the development of training materials to enhance understanding and adherence to quality standards. Work closely with quality control, production, maintenance teams to gather information for document creation and revisions. Foster effective communication channels to promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.

This job operates primarily in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, multipurpose scanner/photocopiers and filing cabinets. While performing some duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is generally at normal levels but can be loud.Position Type and Expected Hours of Work :

Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., food science, quality management, microbiology) or equivalent work experience. Proven experience in quality assurance and document control within the dairy manufacturing industry. In-depth knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory requirements for food manufacturing. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Familiarity with document management software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge in ERP Or OEE software is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with an extremely high accuracy level required Willing to work collaboratively in multifunctional teamWork Authorization/Security Clearance :
