Job Description

Our client is seeking a Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist to support their growing Loan Operations team in Sacramento. The Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist plays a key role in preparing and reviewing loan packages, coordinating closings, and ensuring all documentation meets internal standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have two years of Commercial loan experience, attention to detail and strong understanding of loan documentation types and structures, and regulatory and compliance requirements.
Role Type:
Direct Hire 100% onsite in Sacramento CA.
Pay:
$21-$24/hour (DOE) Responsibilities Prepare loan documents in accordance with approved terms and internal policies.

Review credit approvals and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.

Coordinate loan closings, signatures, and communication with lenders and external counsel.

Order and track third-party reports (flood, title, insurance, entity docs).Ensure documentation meets regulatory and compliance requirements.

Assist lenders with clearing conditions and resolving documentation issues.

Track and resolve post-closing exceptions.

Maintain accurate loan files for audit readiness.

Support loan modifications, extensions, renewals, and closing packages.

Cross-train on loan funding and boarding processes. Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred.

Ideal candidate will have two years of Commercial loan experience, strong attention to detail, and a solid understanding of loan documentation types and structures, including regulatory and compliance requirements.

Knowledge of loan documentation, compliance, collateral verification, and lien perfection.

Experience with document prep systems (Laser-Pro preferred).Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and communication skills.

Ability to adapt to frequent changes and work collaboratively across departments.

Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
